Define "Obstructionist"

When a group of Democrats tried to block a few (10 out of 229) neanderthal judicial nominees over the fact that they didn’t seem to understand what the Constitution was, Republicans shrieked that they were being “obstructionist,” and then there was a bipartisan effort to felate the Administration.  “We’ll confirm all 10 if you stop calling us sissies!”

10 vacancies on the court.  That’s a few, you know, not a lot.  Not compared to what Gingrich did to Clinton (60 judicial nominations killed in comittee).

But now, those very Republicans who demanded bipartisan cooperation, are holding up the confirmation of Kathleen Sebelius as Secretary of Health and Human Services because, you know, she’s a pro-choice Democrat.  A moderate, broadly bi-partisan Democrat.

But hey, do we real need someone running the DHHS?  It’s not like there’s a flu epidemic rampaging across the continent that has already claimed over 100 lives.

Oh, wait…
